Seriously, Lovers like in Aashiqui 2 & Ranjhanaa making the country sizzle again with love. Like in early 90's movies, characters are flawlessly living a miracle in love. Be it Aamir khan in Dil hai ki Maanta nahin or Salman Khan in Maine Pyar kiya. Trend of sacrifice and overpowering every other emotion in love is back in Bollywood.
What we saw in Aashiqui 2, a combination of misanthropic lover and a girl who carried all her heart for the guy. A real blend of something which is not visible at all in present world. This movie has certainly outcast the original version of Aashiqui where a young boy Rahul Roy falls in love with Annu Agarwal.
May be the buzz was with the songs of the movie but you can't take the credit from the actor Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. They both really complimented each other so well that I saw many people wiping their cheeks after the movie.
So with this AR Rehman classical, Ranjhanaa - A guy with a south indian accent turned the whole cite of Varanasi. I wasn't much interested in watching this movie as it didn't threw any warm marketing tantrum but after going with the reviews and other's word , I took the chance and it was best chance of this year taken by me :).
Dhanush - Hats off mate !!! You really have a golden touch. What ever you will touch I guess will turn gold for you. Sonam Kapoor and Abhay deol were also in the movie but literally Dhanush completely steal the show.
Dialogues of Ranjhanaa were so kinky yet remembered by many lovers after the movie. It was one of those script which was ideally written for Dhanush to mark his place in Bollywood. A tamilian talking hindi that too most difficult dialect of bhojpuri just shows the amount of work and energy put by him.
Some dialogues of Ranjhanaa which I'm sure you all will love and remember the scene...
"Namaaz mein vo thi par aisa lagaki dua hamari qabool ho gayi"
"Humein apne gaal pe thapad se zyada uske gaal pe puppy ka sukh tha"
"Hum khoon bahaein tum aanson bahao..saala aashiqui na ho gaya lathicharge ho gaya"
" bindiya Kundan ke pyjama ka naada itna bhi dheela nahi ki tumhare blouse ke 2 hook se khul jaye"
''Mohalle ke laundo ka pyar, aksar doctor-engineer utha ke le jaate hain.''
"pyar nahi ho gaya....UPSC ka exam ho gya.....sala 10 saal se clear hi nahi ho pa rhe...."
"arey oh rickshaw wale paise matlena bhabhi h tumhri.."
''yeh banaras hai aur launda saala yaha bhi har gya toh jeetega kaha''
"Aashiq ki tab nahi phatti jab mehbooba ki shaadi ho jaye uski tab phatti he jab apni ho jaye"
"Ek baat main samajh gaya hoon. Ladki aur rocket aapko kahin bhi le jaa sakte hain"
The combo of Murari ji & Kundan - friendship that stayed till time and bond that every other human wish to treasure with a friend.
One of my favorite scene of the movie when Dhanush waits for sonam's return and after her she don't recognize him - He sits on the ground with hands on head.
A passer by asks him - "Kya hua bhaiya"
A much frustrated in wait - Kundan (Dhanush) replies - "Fat gayi hai - Siloge kya"
I'm sure you would have laughed again.
Charisma of love can never die and movies like Aashiqui 2 and Ranjhanaa will never make a human get away from it .
I just wanted to post few dialogues of Ranjhanaa but found something more common to put across about these 2 movies and how much it affected me as a person in life.
