Jab Tak Hai Jaan

One of the most best movie for me with so many odds, special certainly because it was farewell movie from my most favourite director Yash Chopra. The blend he always mixed in his directorial venture is just one word - speechless. From the very first movie - Dhool ka phool, in which Rajendra Kumar and Mala Sinha made this struggling rookie - a full time director.

I hope one day, I get an opportunity to write a book or atleast an article about movies made by Yash ji for only reason that each of his movie got me hitched with the plot. Be it, Waqt - where the separation from family and understanding the missing care of parents made me cry in my childhood a lot. Or, films like Daag, Ittefaq, Joshila  were movies not from my time but, after watching them - his ideas and presentation made me cry loud alone many a times.

Then, came a series of movies on human relations full fledge starting from Kabhi Kabhi,  my all time favourite movie where commitment, love and friendship got a new definition not so viable to grab though at time when released.

Chandni, Silsila, Dil toh pagal hai, Lamhe, Veer Zaara and last but no means least Jab Tak Hai Jaan - All I can say these movies made me understand human relations much better than anything else around.

Love, sacrifice, commitment, care and above all - love never happens with a purpose. So many realities to relate our life with these movies. Watching these movies, I had seen many people go off track and I'm no exception. I loved all his masterpiece and the last one stays as strong as anything to remain forever to my life.

I got this reply from one of the post regarding Yashji's work after his demise which I want to publish in here.

Tere khwabo me din-raat khoye rehna,
Teri saanso se zindagi ko jeena,
nahi chodungi main -Jab tak hai Jaan
Jab tak hai Jaan, Jab tak hai Jaan

Teri ek aahat se aankho ka khulna,
Teri khwaisho ko poora hote huye dekhna,
nahi bhoolungi main - Jab tak hai Jaan
Jab tak hai Jaan, Jab tak hai Jaan

Baarisho ki boondon ko tere hothon ko choone se,
hum dono ke paas hone ke ehsaas se,
Mohabbat karungi main - Jab tak hai Jaan
Jab tak hai Jaan, Jab tak hai Jaan

Teri Yaadon ke sirahne baith ke,
Teri Hansi ke fasaane ko,
Tere paas na hone ke khayal ko,
Mehsoos karungi main - Jab tak hai Jaan
Jab tak hai Jaan , Jab tak hai Jaan

Kuch sur se bikhre geet, kuch ache bure alfaz mere,
In sab me main hu bus bhool na jaana ,
Rakhna Yaad mujhe - JAB TAK HAI JAAN - Yash Chopra (1932-2012)
